Fresh Start in a Fresh Year?

Start 2015. Keyboard Is this the start to 2015 you wanted?

We’re quickly approaching the last week of January. By now, you can probably gauge your start to 2015.

Have you accomplished your goals for January? Are you hitting weekly sales targets at a better pace than in 2014?

If you aren’t off to the start that you hoped, there’s good news. There’s still time to regroup and have a fantastic first quarter!

Unfortunately, too many people enter a new year without a plan. There’s absolutely a new sense of hope and desire to have a better year, but most people are not willing to change any of their habits. They believe that simply letting their calendar refresh will somehow change their results.

Then, after about a month into a new year, they look around and see nothing has changed and give up on their goals completely. Don’t let this happen to you.

Nothing changes until you change. Your sales will not get better until you get better. <– Click To Tweet

Luckily, there are a few simple steps you can take to make big changes in your sales results.

1. Avoid Life Suckers

They’re the employees that hang out around the water cooler all day and complain to one person after another. They’re the ones who believe showing up to work is the only effort that’s required, and somehow the rest should be taken care of for them! These people should be avoided at all costs.

Don’t allow them to pass their negative attitudes onto you!

2. Get To Work Early

Your day will start with a sense of ease and tranquility. When you’re running into your office to get into your seat exactly at the moment you clock in, you start your day with a sense of chaos. Show up to work early, get organized, create a to-do list and you’ll simplify your schedule and put yourself in the right state of mind to create booming sales.

3. Change Your Environment

Declutter your office and organize your work. It’s one of the simplest, yet most effective ways to get back on track with your sales. Also, consider taking a walk outside and getting some fresh air during your break or lunch periods. You’ll find yourself coming back to work with an improved focus.

Remember sellers, it’s not too late to get back on track and create the year that you desire. This is not the time to give up, it’s the time to regroup and make things work!
