I can take a half day to do some strategic thinking and planning without getting distracted. Loosening my grip means learning when to facilitate instead of own, advise instead of decide, and serve instead of lead. Role #1 (2011-2015): Talk to customers, build the product, repeat. I can see the big picture more clearly.
