Which stakeholders in an organization are given priority? The shareholders, the employees, the customers? Shareholders understandably feel comfortable with the latter. For at least 2000 years there have been rulers who have called themselves servants, from Marcus Aurelius to Joseph II, Frederick the Great to Queen Elizabeth.
